quality settings in counter-strike 1.6
ok... so there`s a fps thread... to help you squeeze as many frames per second as possible for your crap ass pc :D
but then, there`s uber computers... which can handle games like farcry2 and whatever eats fps from your 1 Gb videocards...
my question is... can anyone give me the BEST QUALITY SETTINGS that counter strike has to offer??... i mean i want my computer to lag while playing cs @ uber high resolution and uber high quality settings !!!
so pls feel free to post a cfg here :D <3

No cfg, but always getting a higher resolution lowers your fps. Get a Big ass screen: check what is the highest resolution the screen/card supports and set that.
About cfg. I guess you can modify the shadows in a way I dont know, but my guess is that it's not pretty but might make your computer cry. (not an expert with commands in cs.
I dont really think you can lag on cs 1.6 : V

cs 1.6 will never make a computer from 2005+ to lag or even 2002+ lol
mod the engine and add depth field / bloom / hdr / EFDF

ill try to describe my problem aswell , well im playing some maps and just the image looks like i have 70 fps , its "laggy" or smth , but the fps is 99.9 , and ofc i've done all the vsync and fps things, just wondering why it looks so shity ?
well the things is i dont have fps problems, or lags... it runs very well...
all i want is that i get the best quality in game that counter strike can deliver!
Ask at steampowered forums, Im guessing they know more about it..
just google for a moviemaker cfg, they include the best looking features. also turn on aa and all that stuff in your driver options.
AA set to 8x edge detect =D
SchlumPF is right. Finding some of those moviemaking cfgs is a good way to go although I'm pretty sure you already have one. And don't use that hax. =D Simple glow in AE would be way better. I doubt that a fairly new pc would have troubles running CS with 100 fps no matter the settings you put in (only the game settings).
