Hello to all you movie makers out there.

As you might have noticed, HideNSeek.eu started a movie competition featuring clips of the week.

That means, everyone who likes to make movies can submit his clip of the week and earn prizes like VIP and more.

Every week there will be a theme what those clips are about, for example first KZ, next week HNS and so on.

Also only the editing will get rated, not the tricks.

So I hope a lot of people will join and submit their clips!

Keep your eye on HideNSeek.eu for more more news.

If you have questions you can contact Hymi or me.

kkthxbye.

update

It's time to bring some life in the Movie Scene and that's why we bring you the Clip Of The Week Competition!

That means from now on in every weekly, a theme will be announced which you can make a small clip about.

Also, to participate your clip has to start with the COTW Intro that is done by chosen and can be downloaded in the weeklys.

After submitting the clips, the community will vote for their favourite ones in a poll and the 3 best clips will win.

Keep in mind that you should only rate the clips by editing and quality, not by demos!

There will be prizes which will be announced in every weekly, remember the more competitors the better prizes!

Read the extended newspost for rules and last information.

Rules:
Your clip has to start with the COTW Intro.
Your clip has to have the announced theme of the week.
Only submit your own clips.
Don't try to submit an already submitted clip again.
Max. lenght is 45 seconds.
Max. size is 30 MB.

You're free in the choice of codecs.

So keep your eyes open for the next weekly where the theme will be announced and where you can download the COTW Intro.
We really hope that a lot of people will take part so that this competition will stay alive!

seems like fun , I may participate heheh . wont win but it sounds fun;D

scorefax10/04/2009 12:14

nice idea, i think there are too less hns movies out there
but i think there should be given more information, for example how long the movie should be
and there should be more criteria, like size , codec, and maybe a bit the tricks, just a bit

prof. chosen10/04/2009 13:05

i think the community can vote actually so everyone can make his own criteria :p

Some more facts about COTW:

New theme every week (KZ, Surf, HNS, Guns, and what kind of themes we can imagine that would be fun to compete in.)
Clip length: Announced when every COTW starts.

Participating introduce clip uploaded for each weekly (introduction that must be used in the clips of each COTW)

Prize: Announced at every start of the week (If we can manage it, there will be prizes as VIP on our community, and perhaps in other KZ communities if any of the owners would go along with this idea)

Codec: chosen will be pick the codec to use each week (If not standard codec, it will be uploaded for download aswell)

And we really hope to get more moviemakers into this project so that we could get it running as soon as possible, so if anyone of you out there is interested you should go by #hideandseek @ mIRC or www.hidenseek.eu website where there will be more informations posted about this project during the week.

Is it limited by time ? For example if i cant join right now , will i be able to do it in a month ? Or is the participation time limited ?

noqex14/04/2009 14:12

You will be able to participate every week, its a 1 week competition that will be repeated with different themes and styles as long as we can get people to submit clips to the project :)

Thats awesome there has always been a lack of HnS movies, I hope there is a variety of movies for this, showing off tricks, juking people, doing cool bhop runs on blocks ect.

noqex17/04/2009 10:09

Yea lets hope this gets well accepted by everyone, so that we could have alot of new moviemakers into this aswell, and really see some nice competitions between people, and ofcourse some fine ass results of work :)
