well i wanna SUGGEST to accept demos with the model uploaded along with the demo, so whoever wants to watch the demo can DL the model too. Its not like cheating, its a simple model, not a big deal. CMON i made a wr, shnz's demo was rejected too, only cause of a small tiny model. what would be so wrong to upload the model with the demo itself? cmon guys. im sure that alot of ppls here in xj have a wr, maybe lj maybe kz demos and they cant upload it cuz of that mdl? cmon ...

if this plugin is safe for demo recording , then yeah , they maybe need to accept it
well it doesnt give u any advantage? its something about the ljstats, and how can ljstats give u an advantage? i mean there will be nothing wrong to upload the model along with the demo.

Before any of the demos with additional models are accepted they should be checked by one of the Admins, then added like when you DL maps, inside the RAR there is a cstrike folder with everything needed to view the demo.
I'm saying that XJ should check if the demo gives any advantages then, RAR -> Cstrike -> Demo -> Resubmit!
yes thats my points, and if you want to see the demo, you can extract the models aswell.
13/04/2009 00:50every plugin which is precaching models isn't good for recording. also that kzm_lj.mdl has nothing to do with ljstats its from LJblockmaker. Like fatalis had mention in its post that ljblockmaker is not save for recording!
well, what about lj recs? its lj plugin why its forbidden then ? and theres no explanation why its not safe?
Why do you even need such a plugin, are these blocks @ kz_ljs2 too easy for you or what? Imo it's your own mistake and even rulebreaking when you decide to use a plugin which isnt safe (aka don't download plugins when you aren't sure that they aren't safe for recording). But, if we make some exception, then it's unfair to not accept demos which include some another model = XJ begins to accept demos with different models in them, which will be super fail.
the rule cuz of which your demos were not accepted made a lot other dmos being denied... making a exception doesnt make sense cuz everybody would ask to allow the costum files they use therselves.
the only solution i can think about is a tool eDark could create if it is possible. the tool should read the precached costum file and change them to already existing ones or even remove them. sounds could also be changed to be just played if the user already owns them. forcing a player to dl costum files to view a simple demo would be a dumb step of xj since it would raise the traffic... and players like me would have even hugher steamapps folder...
Yeah, let's have eDark waste his time on that. Or maybe you should stop crying and try to record whatever it was you did again, because you're not the first to have his demo rejected due to foreign models, sweetie.
listen, the amx i used was in alot of wr's ive seen in xj. i mean , the same ljstats, same color, basicly the same. what i didnt know was that i had a folder "kzm" with these models in it. and MY 266 CJ demo WAS ACCEPTED before WITH THESE MODELS. I couldnt know im doing something wrong. The admins should've tell me that i had a different amx from the others, so i can change it before i do my 267.Its kinda unfair dont u think? would be better if they didnt accept my 266 and tell me the problem unstead of TELLING IT WHEN I DID 267 AND GOT REJECTED.
you should know what you install... btw which ljstats do you mean? ive never seen a ljstats with the kzm_lj.mdl. i think you mean fatalis lj maker.
lol, yes i should've checked , and they should of tell me its forbidden so i can remove it , but they didnt, thats unfair
jumpers should know that all kinds of costum files are forbidden which are necesarry to own for viewing a demo so you should have known that the lj maker is not allowed.
btw did you even notice that the plugins thread say that demos with that plugin will not be accepted?

your first demo got accepted although it included the same model, you got to know this, recorded a new demo without removing the plugin -> fail, your fault. the demo rules clearly say what things are forbidden and which not.
no , the fail is that no1 told me that im using the wrong model ffs, and actualy shnz sended me the amx in skype, i didnt DL it from here.

It's your own fault if you download a plugin that uses custom models.
