Need Help wit HLAE

hey guys recently ive been having a problem wit mirv demo tool, its this:
whenever i open it normally and write in console dem_forcehltv 1 and then viewdemo "demoname", when the demo open i cant see anyone, all the guys are invisble..i tried recording just on lan server istead of dedicated but neither worked :(

anyone know how to fix this?thx..

You cant get banned for mirv if you watch demos or when you connect to your LAN game. Just dont connect to a VAC secured server.

And mirv demo tool is IN HLAE. No need to download both.

The correct Guide:
1. Download HLAE (Half-Life Advanced Effects) http://hhg-clan.de/hlae/files/hlae_2_0_2_2.zip
2. Open the program (gui.exe)
3. Click on File > Launch > find your hl.exe directory
4. You can change the others settings, I kept it on default
5. Click on Launch (counterstrike will start in the program itself)
6. Open console and type mirv_fixforcehltv *
7. Load your demo
8. Typ dem_forcehltv 1
9. Reload your demo

Enjoy your freelook

* This command together with MIRV will fix the no-model-show. Its a common problem when you load your demo on default in forced mode you wont see the model whois recording (where the in-eye is from).

once u find the location where u think you are at in the map, go 1 frame back...the players should apear

shit..didnt work :( i dunno why, i did everything u told me to but didnt work..
i can see myself in 1st person view but if i change to free look i can see everyone else execpt me:(

yeye, ive been having problems with the 1st mini guide i done (it worked before, now it doesnt)

now i use HLAE program to launch hl.exe from steam, then mirv is automatically loaded,

all i have to do is, type 'dem_forcehltv "1" and "mirv_fixforcehltv "1" (i think that command is right).

i used to play software mode on crap PC, and i couldnt load any hacks lool :D:D

my video card isnt usefull for anything!! :S:S:Sthx anywayz..

some hacks are enable for d3d try use d3d and start the hack (hlae) it should work if ur grafik card can have software it can have d3d

Just write in console cl_minmodels 1 or 0 and try cl_himmodels 1 or 0

i tried using D3D but my model still doesnt appear :(:( i tried mirv_forcefixhltv 1 or mirv_fixforcehltv 1 (dunno which of those 2 are correct) but still didnt work :(:( anyone got solution for this crap?

sDM... u cant see in 1st person right? i have the solution... press ctrl 1 time, and now press space some times... if u dont see now in 1st person... try to press more times the ctrl button... then use spaces to change the view to 1st person...

sometimes the demo get bug and u cant view in 1st person... dont know why...

If the still dont work... try using Tools > DemoTools > Demo Fix

and about the MODEL in 3rd view... emmmm u stoped the dem? cuz if the demo is stoped the model disapear... move the demo one frame only to locate the model...

Oh and u are using the ultimate version of HLAE? cuz now is in 2.2.5.8

i saw a lot of tutorials (include booms guide) but dont say something like bugs, that sometimes happen...

1) Try if ya command "cl_minmodels" i turn on, i mean is on "1", ya will can't see the player models .... So, type "cl_minmodels 0"

If that's not work, go a few frames forward and try again, but "cl_minmodels" always need to be set to "0"

If thats not work too, so start hlae, click tools > Demo Tools, than mark dem_forcehltv stuck fix: ... So, click next than choose your demo for converting and save it , make sure ya unmark "add hlae watermarks"

If still don't work, reinstall ot update HLAE

lol I did all this now my counter strike is fucked up. its not fll screen anymore and I't like a program ....
