noforce commands removes mouse acceleration. stupid valve didnt made any console commands yet... would like to use 0.2 acceleration, instead of 1+ by default ;[
but mfix does nothing as i can see. u can uncheck "point precision" in windows mouse options or u can use "setPoint OS" in logitech driver oprions. +noforce commands = mfix. can't find any reasons to use it...
mfilter... its personal option. so i dunno what to suggest here. i prefer mfilter - 0.
joystick look? are u serious? i lol'd hard ;[

hm
i found a registry entry on google, that disables mouse acceleration 100%
i also used -noforcempars -noforcemaccel , m_filter 0 ,dpi off , sens 2.6,in win 1.6 i think.

ZiK BlooDRaveN28/04/2009 04:51

What? dpi off?
I prefer m_filter 0, mouse acceleration off und that is all

dpi is also acceleration...

faxity29/04/2009 00:07

dpi = dots per inch and definately not acceleration, if you put it at 2000 it will not accelerate faster then on 800

stRunF how the fuck did you think that dpi has something to do with accelerations? :S

Like faxity said dpi=dots per inch. It defines how accurate and fast your mouse is. Bigger the value means faster, but also more accurate movement. If you want to use max dpi so do it(which I prefer), but don't forget to change your cs sensitivity to lower value.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

im using these at "launch options"

-w 1280 -h 1024 -refresh 100 -tickrate 100 -heapsize 524288 -nojoy -noipx -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -32bpp -freq 85 -noaafonts -32bpp

should i keep these settings or many are senseless?

Firstly, take the -refresh outta here. Its useless since its cs source launch command such as -heapsize, -noipx and -noaafonts(remove they all with the numbers). And why you have 2x-32bpp?? I think only one will do the work. And change -freq 85 to -freq 100.

So its must look like this: -w 1280 -h 1024 -tickrate 100 -nojoy -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -32bpp -freq 100

-w = useless, once you've chosen your resolution it always starts like that (atleast to me that is)
-h = completely useless, if you put 1280 in -w then it will automatically set 1080 here
-freq -> you can't decide the value for him, depends on the monitor
-tickrate = serverside..?
-nojoy = removes joystick support to get more ram free.. like there are any computers which don't have enough ram for cs :B
-noforcemaccel -noforcemparms = both good

why not have -noforcemspd?
