Yeaaahhh, even if you guys live in a first world country, the point is that it's the only disease out there right now that humans have no immunity to, and it's spreading really fast. The fact that it's not fatal is most likely just temporary, seeing as how it will probably mutate sooner or later. Having said that, it will probably die out just like the bird flu or sars.
Still, if you ask me, a flu epidemic is the next big thing, especially because people don't like to get vaccinated...
