HJ gives you a small "slowdown" if you jump block, wich means you jump earlier (~10 units) before the block. LJ is just longjump on flat ground or even blocks.

how ? The only difference is in height of the blocks, in LJ maps they're very small, HJ very large, but everything else is prety much the same ?

It's the same but like Extract said, you just have to jump before the edge. Otherwise you slow down and can't make even a 210 hj-block.

~10 units before the edge on hj you begin to slow down if im not wrong, so if you want to make better distance you have to jump a bit earlier

CoreySerbia07/05/2009 23:48

you slow down because block is higher ? So every lj on hns and kz maps is basicly hj?

If they are like HJ's on LJ2 (no higher difference) it's HJ
If the one you want to arrive on it's somewhere downer it's LJ

Oddi^08/05/2009 05:51

Noy downer, lower.

The difference is that highjump has edgefriction and u mustnt jump from the end of the block , like lj.
