Hello. I need help, I have a stupid lag on CS 1.6 non-steam, dont know where I took this(I, remember, how I changed models a lot) and dont know to correct, maybe I, really, have bad model? Before this my cs had perfect running... but now not. I reinstalled cs about 6 times and about 6 times repatched, and nothing :( . This lag I have every 1:30 - 2:00 min. For example, you can look this demo, what kind of lag, at the first jump. I have this shit everywhere: by playing LAN or publics, looking demos etc. Check someone somehow for errors ^^

Perhaps you have installed some service that does something in background? Antivirus?

Yes, there is one cool service with background and menu etc.
I used it about 5 months and it didnt lag with it. Only two weeks ago it began! With the same service

You can always reinstall windows.

But before that, try disabling all programs that run in background and then slowly returning them one by one to startup list. Go Windows->Run and type msconfig
There you can disable startup programs. If that fails...reinstall windows.

Only not reinstall :@. Must be another way, maybe problem in config, I really need help. And I understood service like pack, I have Mr.Lols pack - russian language cs

nonsteam is lagging and crashing recently on my PC, lol. For example, i'm playing GTA4 w/o any lags with almost maximized graphs. Steamed one is running perfectly. So yea, buy steam ;]
