I'm trying to set different textures for a model (a blockmaker model to be exact) and I want it so that the top and bottom of the block are one texture, and the sides are a different texture.

does anyone know how to do this? when i try to import new textures, it just overwrites the old one instead of giving me two textures to work with.

I hope this made sense, thanks.

don't know any modelsite but i'll try to help what i have learned from reading.

for these changes you want to do, you need to unwrappe the model to get a UVmap of it. after you got the uvmap you can texture the model how you like. when the texture is finished its only needs to be imported to the model or sourcefiles and then it needs to be compiled.

you are using an already finished model so normally you can replace it with jeds modelviewer instead of compiling the sourcefiles again.
