maximum distance with only one strafe?

hi, i was wondering how far you could get with a single strafe.
this thread probably already exists somewhere, but the search didn't spit it out for me :(
well i did 240 units today click

There is a thread like this, yes. I remember someone jumped 240 units too so I think it's the maximum.

insen once jumped 240 w/o demo (he said), although i already did a lucky 241 unity pre-only jump on ground. i guess its possbiel to jump even a few units more though but it requires incredible luck, a very high pre and an uberstrafe ^^
still ljing with only one strafe is senseless (except for a few strafejumps where you need to jump ing 180° around a wall) so hf geeking another senseless thing :D

its still fun to see how far one can get with that.
and the way to do it is a crappy sync, funny though :)
i just figured that out last night.
you can even use this in multi strafe ljs, since you jump more like a straight line and not such wide curves.

It can be bugged to be like a half strafe and won't count as a strafe. This has happened to me on several occasions although I felt the speed of a strafe I was able to jump 234 units.

i saw heat doing 241 stats in public after like 5 tries - im sure he can do some crazy results

personally ive only done 238 block and 239.9 stats.. i hear lolo from lolos federation did 240 block, Kenny did 239 etc yo whats up dawgs this goes to all my niggas out there!

before 1 year I did 240.7 stats on 235 block :/

My maximum distance with 1 strafe is like 238 at 234 block.

after 15min... my best is 238 block with

LongJump Distance: 239.283279 Maxspeed: 288.161407 (Gain 11.906799) Prestrafe: 276.254608 Strafes: 0 Sync: 5?.

i rly wanna beat 240 blox :DD

i tried 240 blocck with one strafe 2 weeks ago and i failed with 242.x so i think 243 or maybe 244 is poss! :/
