lol maybe you could post a reason why

ok, so i completely hate your colours, and i hate how editors use hlae to seperate the layers between map and knife it makes it look so out of place. Campaths are simple, but i like simple campaths maybe thats just me. Your music is just shit. And the random cs player in 3rd person view flying through air while in 1st pov looks so ugly and doesnt match it at all. Text is basic so i don't mind it, simple = best. Nice jump though although i never played hns maps.

pretty funny since your prelast clip (lagster's 250 jump or something) also had the knife seperated from the layer. but okay, maybe you dramatically changed your opinion lul.

and the "random" player "flying through the air" was synced with the actual first person view.

rusty07/06/2009 17:25

what makes you think i seperated the layers? i didn't use hlae in the entire movie except for the ct in the movievault clip. you fail lul.

blabla doesnt really matter which program you use.

clip is called "Lagster's 252 longjump"

the part what i ment starts at 00:08 and ends at 00:11.

(and is btw ripped from another movie which i recently noticed, so you shouldnt be saying the word fail to me hehe)

rusty07/06/2009 17:31

i didn't use any program but counter-strike and virtual dub, and same again with the 252 movie i only used when he flicked the knife out, never split layers in any of my 1st pov clips in any of my movies. lul at you again

again: blabla, still doesnt matter which programs you used and i dont really care, since theres a lot of ways you can do stuff with "you used blabla and i only only used blaaa" is just a bad excuse.

so ure saying you totally dislike seperated-knife-layers on a 1st person view and they're out of place in your opinion, but you like seperated-knife-layers on a 3rd person view so much that you would use them in your movies?

hmm sounds strange, but i kind of get it.

rusty07/06/2009 17:35(edited 07/06/2009 17:38)

lol all u can say is bla bla bla because you know your wrong, can't beleive you thought i seperated my layers lol its so easy to notice that i didn't. and i don't seperate my layers between player models and maps in 3rd person either except for specific reasons such as placing the player model in the movievault clip in my recent movie

?

but you did that one the lagster clip from 8 to 11, as i already said. so how come youre lieing LOL?

and no, i wrote "blabla" to make you understand that i totally dont give a crap about programms and on my latest post i even explained you WHY, so how about READING. some people prefer vegas, some hlae, some after effects, and some cooll-looking-princess-effect-program-from-disney.exe.

and you think that im "wrong", right? that shows how incompetent you are, since there's no such thing as wrong or right in art as moviemaking.

rusty07/06/2009 17:43(edited 07/06/2009 17:44)

lol as i said again and again, ive never seperated layers in pov clips except for when doing an effect. Such as the example your taking from 252 clip 0:08 to 0:11 i only split the clip to blur background and flick the knife out, soon as the lj demo started that was all one clip. and i know you don't care about what programs i use im just letting you know i didnt use a special program to split my layers when i clearly didn't. Now stop your bitching and just take my critsism.

Oh and you were wrong you thought i split my clips in my demos when i don't =)

so you call that "an effect" haha, i call mine an effect too, EVEN A TRANSITION, okay? since it was a transition between the jump in 1x speed and then in 0,5x speed.

and yes, of course you splitted your layers, or did you spec him with noclip while he was doing that jump live? didnt think so.

and dont come up with insulting now, im trying to have a discussion here, since i'm a curious person.

rusty07/06/2009 17:50

how do you call yours an effect if u had your knife model and map split the entire movie. And no i did not split my layers like i said a million times, i just viewed the demo in 3rd person made a campath and took it off cs into vegas.

i really really dont care HOW you made that, for me it's just totally a seperated layer thing.

and i call mine an effect because as i already said, it was a transition between 2 clips.

1st clip = para + map

then the 1st clip ends, i kept the para model and the map was away, means there was a parqa model with black background

then the 2nd clip came and there was some new background behind the para model.

thats what i call a transition.
