Instruction
we got in the past days/weeks many maps which are really bad packed. So i thought about to make a new tutorial, on how to pack a map right with winrar or any other pack program.
So that there are no confusing rar/zip files with a structure like:
mapname/counter-strike/cstrike
or counter-strike/cstrike/
or even cstrike/

Let's go!
In to your mapping sourcefolder from your actual mapproject. Create there a new folder called release.
Now open it up and create there another folder called maps.
Lets take a look on your third party files like models, sprites, sounds & gfx.
If you have any third party files for your map, create the folders.

Example for a map with all kind of third party files:
[blockquote]release/
release/maps
release/models
release/sprites
release/sounds
release/gfx/env[/blockquote]

To have a better overview of all the files for your map, it is better to create a new folder in the main folders of models, sprites and sounds.
Otherwise, the files can be override, by some other map files from other mappers.

Now it should look like this:
[blockquote]release/
release/maps
release/models/yourmap
release/sprites/yourmap
release/sounds/yourmap
release/gfx/env[/blockquote]

Now copy every third party file in to the right folder.
After the final compile of your map, copy the bspfile in to your release/maps/ folder.
The last step is now to get into the release folder. Select the folders, make right click and press Add to archive...
Now the filename in the dialog is release.rar, rename it to yourmap and press okay.

Hey you packed your map right. Upload it somewhere to release your map!

Nice, good job :) I really hate when i have to unrar a folder, then rar all the files again and unrar them into cstrike folder.
