We had the same discussion in surf, because "look" wanted to do the second surf part of ds and most people said I should be the only one who edits them. And I'll prolly do another special for kz. I cant forbid you to steal my ideas and produce different styles yourself, I just hope the people would understand that and leave it

so i made a few battle movies myself...does that mean its my idea?
no... but it does mean that when i make my own version of battle clips, they are different and better (maybe...) then all other battle clips out there...

different styles was a great idea to start with, but no offence... rK makes these movies better than anyone, just because he came up with the idea first :)

No, he is not. The fact that he was the first to come up with such and idea means only that it will be easier for him to stick with the main concept since it's originally his "product". However, that doesn't mean nobody else can apply it and use it through his own imagination and creativity, he might change it up a little bit, twist it according to his own artistic taste. So how come he shouldn't be able to not only resemble the original idea, but even improve it? Essentially what gaming-movies' editors do is improving the concept of gaming-movies in general, e.g., you can't really compare your work to the kz movies 2-3 years ago. This movie wasn't something special and definitely not better than rK's different styles one, again that doesn't mean no one but rK should be able to make something better. Just my two cents... Peace out.

maybe my comment wasnt clear enough. I just think this name "different styles" is something like a series of me and a lot of people know me for the name.
I hope so and I think my movies will always be better known as other ones. But I dont like to see exactly the same name on other movies.
relating to this video here, the name "different techniques" would fit even more than different styles because he is doing the jump on some jump techniques but with his OWN style.

Exactly how I thought. And they kinda used "your" name to get views. boom.dll, when I wrote my comment I knew that someone would bring the battlemovies up. But those are not as unic as these ones. People could easily have got the idea from other places. In this movie they used the same name as rK, and the same whole concept. It's obvious that they didn't get the idea by themselves.

i think its awesome that knut wanted to feature his friends or mates from his country which isnt that big in kz and doing this in the same way that another guy did isnt a bad idea at first
however imo you should include something more personal to ur movie, which makes it different from rK's original idea ^^

for example you could define a jump that has to be in the demo or a region on a map where the players must jump and display what the players make out of that ^^ shows the style alot better imo

you and i know that there are battle movies on youtube which have almost the same font/colors/style/etc in the intro/outro as my movies... but that doesnt piss me off or smth... actually i`m pretty proud that someone considers my work good enough to copy it... we live in a copying world... everyone`s a copycat... if they love something, they try to replicate it... some succede or overpass the original, some fail...
in rK`s case, i just think (and you must agree on this one with me rK) noone will have that "SPARK" that rK has in his movies...
so... just chillax and enjoy movies... think about the amount of time someone spends, so they can post it here for you to watch. it isnt that nice when someone thrashes your thread (it has happened before... xD)
PS: i also thought of makin a different styles movie after i`ve seen rK`s nuke special... but then again... it would have sucked ass :P
