What you typed in those params?

sn00p -_-02/07/2009 17:51

name ->
fog density - > 6.05
fog color - > i just picked a color

dEMolite mapper02/07/2009 18:26

try 0.x densities.

if wanderer used density of 0.1 (or 0.001), what about 6.x then ? :D

still doesn't work ... :|

edit : nwm works now

note : density value must be like this x.xxxx

Nope, that doesn't matter...
Just put that value between 0.001 and 0.01 (even there's one more digit as you say, like 0.0010, but as dEmolite stated some time ago, hl engine chops that last digit off)

0.001 = wanderer
0.01 = devil's a**hole (if you make color something like 1 0 0)

at least that's for me, never tried 6.xxxx though...

+1 ^^ 6.xx :)

dunno that Pieshels but i've tried values like

x.x - nothing
x.xx - nothing
x.xxx - nothing
x.xxxx - work'd

btw there's any way to make partial fog , just in a part of map ?

dEMolite mapper03/07/2009 12:17

normally there is no way with the env_fog

but if you want to fake it you can use func_illu
