How much RAM do you have?
9.0 is probably full of bugs, you should use 8.0 or older versions :X

why would the y release a new software on the site as final version if it was alot of bugs ... but anyway r5sty just try to change your settings on some way i hade the same prob when i tried it on 9.0 but u really need to make sure that every thing is checked in on the settings and shit like that :D then it will work gl anyway :F

this might just be one of those Windows related problems.

the first screen just tells me that either the version of the codec you installed isnt supported, or that the codec that you installed is faulty (try reinstalling it or updating it) (i`m having the same problem with DivX codec... everything works fine with Xvid Mpeg4 smth codec)

the second screen tells me that windows is in desperate need of virtual memory, which should not be a problem since you have 4 Gb ram... anyway, try checking for spyware problem, or viruses. if that doesnt work, maybe increase the paging file size...

my computer>properties>advanced tab>advanced tab again>virtual memory (change button)
this value should be at least 1500 MB (if you are running programs that use a lot of RAM... vegas is one of those programs)... if its lower than 1500, raise it. if its higher, than i have no idea... maybe try reinstalling windows :(

total paging size is 2056mb, i finally got the x264 render to work but with hell rweird settings not the 1s like in the tut :S its like 60mb for 25seconds so i can't use them for the final render :/ still cant render with wmv
