its a big map and this tree sc makes it stupid like clintmo_longjumper so maybe you admins can split it to [tree] and [notree] so people can record demos for the whole map.

i think that there has been debate about this and it will not happen. that sc is fault of a mapper, not a different way to finish a map. only if it is intentional (like fairy island) then you have different options.

same argument goes for risk_compound and many many other maps (gigablock?)

compound is totally raped, and i would hapily see a rule restricting that sc!

That rule would be arbitrary since policy of XJ is "all shortcuts are allowed". If wiki system is implemented, something could be worked out as "unofficial records" where you could have list of records on such maps with restricted sc's (think about restricting sc's involving bugs) which would be maintained by some special admins.
