i just recently got back into CS after no playing for about a year or so. i also seemed to get back into KZ, especially bunnyhopping. i never bunnyhopped before, only did regular KZ maps. i'm wondering what others use to bhop. i'm pretty sure everyone uses mwheeldown though. what really frustrates me is that sometimes i don't get the hop perfectly on time, and i slow down a bit. what's a good way to fix this, except for practicing? is there a certain speed i should scroll? like slowly from when i'm still in the air, or very fast right before i hit the ground? any help would be appreciated =)

if its so hard for you, just get some bhop script

just practice there is no really tips , practise and try to feel the right moment for jump .

kielorz14/07/2009 16:27

Yamakasi is right!

but also it may help you - watch handshows of some jumpers:

yeah, handshows are pretty helpful. i just miss it a few times, but i noticed that if i reduce the number of strafes i do, i can focuse more on timing the jump, and i don't miss any. i guess i just need to take it slow. thanks for the tips guys

dont listen to ichwill, never do a script, itll get you lazy and aftertime you will start prefering hns 100aa like some loser @ 11 years old. just a tip

i do not agree with you at all

,some aa100 hns players are older than 11 , not by much tho... and they arent many tbh , theyre quite a few actualy ... i think

okhay all aa100hns players arent older than 11

DiDo-Grecord holder15/07/2009 22:40

they are !

litt0vi3tb0i15/07/2009 23:49

okay i think i figured that aa100 is airaccelerate 100, but what about hns? sorry i'm kinda new to these terms =P

Yamakasi16/07/2009 00:38

hns is Hide & seek , but they'r just offtopic .
And like i said before there is no really tips just training!

I was in the same situation not to long ago, i bought a new mouse with a better scroll and lived on the phoogi bhop server. Got much better in no time.

faxity16/07/2009 12:58

hns = hidenseek and it's way more popular on aa100, aa10 doesn't even get played anymore in public

btw; damn kunqui @ uber sensivity if i look at his youtube vid

qewi17/07/2009 00:45

faxity oh it doesn't? I'm guessing you're one of those who prefer 100aa. Stupid new settings, servers filled with flamers, damn it's so nice with 100aa! The only reason anyone plays it cause they sucked too hard at 10aa, or maybe they just want to pwn some 100aa nubs asses. It's not hard to bounce around like a maniac, and many of the 100aa players are pure morons when it comes to groundmoves.

10aa at small maps like train ftw, more action, but still real hns with ground movements instead of flying around the map bhopping like a god :<

Is there anybody who bunnyhops with the space key? I'm just curious because I'm practising with it for a while now but I'd like to know if there's sort of a limit of multiply jumps.

Better u give advice to us :D , kiddin' , ok play very easy maps on the begging and your goal have to be to beat that map , bkz_goldbhop , bhop_cave2 , and that maps are easy but had some hard parts for begginers that can seems inpossible just jump over them time to time and your skill will come with time , also watch Kreedz Tutorial that is very hellpfull :) Wish u nice bhoppin :)

Grrr05/08/2010 08:17

if u didn't get my joke, then buy a super expensive mouse and try to do the hardest bhop maps with low fps (oh sorry I forgot that u don't wanna practice - so just buy a super expensive mouse)

k a f f e e05/08/2010 09:19

hey viet, better go train some surfing again :]

anyways i'd say it is very usefull to start bhoping without much strafing and try to learn how to standup properly.

http://www.climbers-germany.de/e107_plugins/recorddemos_menu/demos.php?order=author&sort=desc here you can find several old demos of zocker, great example how you can get a sick bhop skill without much strafeskill and its like the basic of decent bhopping to focus on hitting the right pre.

i believe a0ke was using only space for his old wr's, which is pretty damn impressive imo

Actually playing 10aa hide'n'seek, uber long bhop maps (a2_currou etc) and pretty hard maps make me train bhopping.
