I have same problem. But i ordered already a G5 (waiting for it 3-4 days).
I heard that DeathAdder is the best for CS 1.6 and Logitech G5 is the best for KZing.

EDIT: Oh, you already bought it :)

All I can say is i have used mx518 for 2-3 years and it still feels like new. For me durability would be a big issue in buying a mouse.
