codec x264 file size (help me :'()
when i render tooks like 1 min but this is ok, but when i render small videos like 5 seconds i get 27mb of size, so if i make a video with 1 min it gets like 1 gb omfg, some1 can help me? i followd the instructions of Hymi tutorial.
and the quality is bad :/
hymi's tutorial is a total fail. the compression system is bad, the sound gets displaced ~0.1 second and the quality doesnt come out really good.
sure its ok, but I recommend other codecs
give me tutorials pls.
Im gonna make a tutorial 17 mb each min But its hd and nice quality =) take a look here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ho5YFirDswQ

i will post the tut with pictures here on xj
i recomand something, i never got problems or shit with this one
k, just render your movie with 1280x720 with UNCOMPRESSED (when you choose your render codec) and after this use a program like MEGui,RIPBOT or something, i personally like ripbot cus at megui i always get problems with templates, sound and other shits
quality its uber, it uses x264 for compression. USE IT-~ bye
why do I always see x264 with mp4 or mkv? I know its a good codec but everyone who knows just a bit about codecs and compression knows that its just for good pc too.
In every good tutorial they say "if you want to have good quality with small file size, then use x264. but if you want that your movie will be watched by thousands of people, use xvid"
most slow pcs cant handle the high compression system and especially for cs movies its stupid to compress a movie with hd resolution and high bitrate in x264 because 40% of the viewers cant watch it correctly.
My quality was always really good (aynit - surf movie) and I used fddshow in vegas. it renders fast, gives hot quality and the file size is ok (~30mb/min). And Ive never heard of any laggs on old computers.
@ nfs: quality is ok but I think wmv is a really bad codec. its just a amateur codec and not even a part of mpeg4
@NFS 800x600 in cs, then 1280x720 output from vegas... That is just ugly.
