My first 226!!!
Hi all, special greetings to FiK0N, esilo, and Faker. Thanks to the demos, I have finally made 226 units. I can't strafe in the air, so made some movements I am not sure whether it was good and landed on the other side. I realized that without strafing in the air my max is 225. But with some wiggeling i have finally made 226.
nj. Now u defenatelly need to keep on geeking till you make it up to 240 block-)

I suggest you try learning to strafe in-air. When I started longjumping I did only mouse movement in air and thought it get's me further, but I was wrong.
Just keep practising and maybe you'll reach the 240 block too.
OMG, thank you kaa & Oddi^ for the prompt feedback. Good to know that I am not left alone with my jump attempts. You know, strange thing is, it was like 2-3 years ago when I first decided to learn longjumping. I then red the text guide by FiK0N and learned about strafe jumping. FiK0N warned us that strafejumping won't come easy and it will take months. I thought I can make it within few days but years have past. So after some frustrating days I left the whole longjump thingy. But I kept on trying this nuke from truck to rooftop jump. And after some months I was finally able to make it and I am the star on our local cs1.6 server cuz I am the only one who can handle this jump lol. Now esilo has relased this inferno middle to half-rooftop jump guide and I must learn it! But airstrafing seems to be a must so now I must learn that airstrafing!!! I just tried 227 but its a bit difficult. I must improve my airstrafing.

I used to use a no-brand cheap mouse, also my computer was quite old (5 years old), but now i have intellimouse and core 2 quad and hd4890 computer.

Thx 3T! OMG, today is a weird day cuz its the first time in 2 years that I made LJ. I just did 230!
According to kzfr_longjump I'm now a pro cuz I just made 231. I guess I keep on practising here until I make it 100%.

Oh man, 231 is difficult, its delicate, its fine, pushing buttons hard won't help, you have to be delicate.
Doing handjob to my dog helps me to improve my hand/finger movements while jumping. You shoud try it out. GL!

oh im so dissapointed, can't make 230 anymore, so frustrating... dunno what to do, dunno where my jump technique fails exactly, frustration

dis isn't funny, guys. What you see here is the path of a noob trying to learn to lj. Now I got back to the roots, meaning I jumped without airstrafing and max I can do is 230. I did 230 and now I can do it like 3-4 out of 10 times. Now I am on 231 block and logically this is the block where normal lj without airstrafing wouldn't do a thing. How can I learn airstrafing?
