Hey guys,

just like we did announce in http://xtreme-jumps.eu/comment.php?comment.news.1117 we were working on uploading all the movies which are available at XJ to our own3d.tv account.

Finally it's done :) All the movies from the XJ "Movies" section are uploaded to our own3d.tv account:

If you want us to add your movie too, or know another great movie that should be added and want to "nominate" it, just shoot and post them in here :)

Only requirement: It has to be a full movie!

Anyways, good job for the own3d.tv-channel. As you mentioned; no sound taken off from the videos due to copyright-issues, better quality than YouTube and definitely easy to browse!

i prefer youtube and it takes 20 seconds to resolve the copyright. well gj for setting this up

Youtube only supports vids until 10 mins which is pointless in my eyes, also splitting/cutting them is extra work. own3d.tv has better quality, you can read all the stuff in here: http://xtreme-jumps.eu/comment.php?comment.news.1117

How? I only figured out to add the audtio tracks manually (which is lame)... and then the ingame-sound etc. is gone.

well you just have to fill out a disclaimer on the video which got the wmg or whatever copyright problems and after like 5mins the sound is back. you can just search on youtube after "how to remove youtube copyright"

to the 10 minutes stuff: its true for normal accounts that 10 minutes or slightly longer is maximum for youtube. Some may have seen videos longer than 10 mins which is either

1. Because the uploader is sponsored by youtube and payed money to be aloud to upload vids longer than 10 mins

or

2. The Uploaders account was set to speciality "Director" before November 2006. Every speciality of youtube accounts like "Guru", "Comedian", etc has its own special feature and until november 06 directors had the feature to be able to upload longer videos. It got changed then but accounts which ones had this feature still remain it.

Just sharing some knowledge, you might get ahold of such an account since this community is pretty big but im not sure if you can change the accountname and all that, anyways it would mean alot of work and since u set it up at own3d well theres no need to change

Actually our plan was to host all the tutorial related stuff at youtube, and the movies and other stuff at own3d.tvo (better quality, no limitations).

Also thanks to dacca for the FTP link, going to add some of the movies which were located on the ftp.

And so ? They prefer something they don't have to fight with, and own3d.tv is way much better.. just admit it, that's not because youtube is more known than own3d.tv that this is the best plateform etc..
