About hj?
I'm wondering how many units it up it have to be if it should be a HJ and why is it a HJ on that unit?
A platform that is high(er) 70 or more units off the ground is known as "HJ block", dunno why its HJ on that unit, I even don't know why the edgefriction does exist but I think that these 70 units are default in CS, anyway its more interesting to play with these weird stuff like edgefriction, cuz without it CJ wouldn't be discovered IMO :)
not a lot of cs's physics make sense, but i do think it is a nice addition. in kz or normal cs, it helps to know all the little tricks
dunno
Edgefriction was added mainly becoz of "sliding" from edges when playing game running HL engine (if i'm not wrong). With sliding I mean having hard time standing on blocks edge. And about when jump is hj, I've always though over 64 is HJ. (?)
I thought it was made to slowdown some noobz near the "danger" edges..

basicly to make movements more realistic. And to avoid unrealistic things to happend i think.
maybe because in older versions all people could jump nuke roof to rock holding only W and jumping. (maybe in this time the programmers havent imagined strafing or other jump tecniques)
and yeah, its possible jumping roof to rock holding W and jumping (just pick 270+ pre on the wall)
ikm poss with a normal W-pre as well =PPP
tbh it's poss without w-pre too. Just heck many of strafes with scriptlike gain, :D
yeah its only a 232ish block, you can get that with good strafes and 250 pre
