Laggs when recording:s
Hey, first of all, thanks to all who help/tries, to help me with my problem.
My problem is that I dont have a program which can record my screen when im playing the demos in my cs.
"im making a demo"
"using a program to record my screen"
But it laggs very much, i tried fraps.. But that was the worst program ever.
Anybody got a good program which can record my screen, so in can record over a demo in my cs? without lagg?
Thanks:)<3
heh, u need to register on some movienations.com, so u can start with all the moviemaking from the begining. to record a clip in cs, type in console startmovie name 90 (90 is frames per second, its depends on you, how much u want, but the default nowadays is 90) so you will got a lot of screens in your cstrike folder. put all these screens in virtual dub and save as avi - u will got uncompressed clip.
But? ive heard people do this with fraps.. But my fraps doesnt seem to work..
My pc is good, its just laggy.. it worked before, but doesnt work now :s.. (its 2 years ago it worked)
So now i need a new recorder program ?:S
fraps sux, just like 432142984748213912732173908 u know?
hmm:/ any ideas then ?

lol the quality and fluidness was bad. and even though he gots a really nice computer. no serious moviemaker uses fraps, its not made to make movies with it.

peebee, you dont need any new "recording" programm such as fraps or gamecam. counter strike is equipped with the best possible capturing function. N1K1t1Ch explained to you how it works and you should use it. the lagging you are talking about just means low fps. your pc is not able to record the demos far enough. with startmovie it runs slower but takes as much frame as you want. the more fps the better. I recommend 300

it wasnt =] just in every tutorial now, like a ''default'' is 90. quality is not so bad and dont takes alot of space on your hdd. for the starters it might be good i think =]
by the way, there is a couple tutorials in this forum, be more attentive. http://xtreme-jumps.eu/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?146327
But, my problem isnt the lagg when i record in cs..
Theres no lagg when i see my demos..
My problem is to make the demos to avi files..
So I thought i would use a program to record when i play the demo.. So it could get to avi.. ???
you dont understand peebee
THE LAGGING IS NORMAL WHEN YOU CAPTURE YOUR DEMOS!
these are the steps:
1. viewdemo demoname
2. when you want to start to capture, write in console (or make a bind) startmovie jump1 300.
3. your computer will lag because it takes pictures (300 pictures every second, so it will take a while, depending on the jump`s length; also be carefull to have enough HDD space because the pictures will take lots of space).
4. when you want to stop capturing, write in console (or make a bind) endmovie.
5. you have lots of pictures in your cstrike folder.
6. open virtualdub.exe and drag&drop the first file (called jump10001)into virtualdub. it will automatically load all files that begin with jump1xxxx (xxxx is the number of the pictures).
7. click on Video, Frame rate, and change the frame rate to 300.
8. press F7 and choose where to save your .avi file. (it will be big, depending on how many pictures you had, so make sure there`s enough HDD space)
9. after the encoding is done you will have an .avi file to work with in Sony Vegas or Adobe After Effects.
Hope i helped you understand how moviemaking works. :)
use boom.dll's steps!
and yes, let me repeat: It is normal that it laggs because your pc is not fast enough to capture ("record") the avi files or take the screenshots with startmovie in real time. but they have the right speed and after rendering in a movie editing programm like sony vegas you get a nice clear result!
hi rK! i saw naked pictures of you and i must say i`m inlove boyyyyy :> <3
Thanks boom.dll<3 I love you :D
1 question, when i put all the pictures in virtualdub..
And make them to avi etc.. Then it goes in slooow mootion.. How do i make it normal speed ?

please read our post exactly. your .avi file from vdub weights still hundreds of mb's or maybe even 5 gb. Its pretty obvious that your pc cant read all the informations that fast.
But its after ive done everything?.. Like, after it have come out on avi file on my pc..
Sorry .. its not because I dont read your messages, I'm just not very good at english, that might be why ive misunderstanded something?
ahh yeha, got my bro to translate it 100% LOL!!
Thanks guys!! I really appreciate your job!!
Thanks !!
