<3, "smaller than three", is a mathematical concept which has drawn powerful emotions to its interesting qualities over time.

<3 is a useful sequence of numbers due to the fact that it consists of the positive integers 1 and 2. They are prime numbers, which means if they are divided by integers you will inevitably end up with a fraction - this quality means, that an emotion felt by an individual is not dividable and therefore your loved one has to be unique.

Also <3 consists of the number 0 which can be divided as much as you want without changing it. It is thought to symbolize the fact, that mathematically thought an emotion can be shared to someone eternally without being worn out.

<3 also consists of an infinite amount of negative numbers which aren't so-called "natural numbers". This doesn't mathematically mean that the feeling would somehow be negative. It is considered referring to the emotion being so divine that regular, natural, formal logic cannot understand it.

koki came up with that ages ago, but nice try

Solve this:
(x^3+2x^2 )+(2x^2+4x)=0
It's easy of course, I can solve it by myself, just in case.
If you want hard one you're always welcome to ask for it.
P.S. ^ means superscript

is that "completing the square"?

Zero-product property

x^3 + 2x^2 = 0 V 2x^2 + 4x = 0
x^2 (x + 2) = 0 V x (2x + 4) = 0
x^2 = 0 V x + 2 = 0 V x = 0 V 2x + 4 = 0
x = 0 V x = -2 V x = 0 V x = -2

.'. double roots

x = 0 V x = - 2

Might contain errors (GOT BORED)

OKEY I DID THIS ALL AND THEN NOTICED YOU HAD + BETWEEN, NOT x

Okey I fail, I do it again.

x^3 + 2x^2 + 2x^2 + 4x = 0
x^3 + 4x^2 + 4x = 0
x (x^2 + 4x + 4) = 0

Once again, zero-product property
x = 0 V x^2 + 4x + 4 = 0, quadratic equation

- 4 +(-)sqr(16 - 16) divided by 2
x = - 2 V x = - 2

.'.

x = - 2 OR x = 0

also if you like this codec/format and the way it comes out dont let people tell u half-true made up crap, the only thing you should improve is your ingame aa which is clearly too low.

yes mate i did say gpu settings = aa
and i never seen the stream
1st time i watched was download
and lolo, dont fall into my mistake - of putting sync in random places (and flashes), watch rinkon and rayla etc. they have the real pro edit and their sync is just enough

.wow I'm bored wow i'm not so cool anyway wow you care.

Talking about mathematics:
chosen dinsilio [blockquote]dinosaur + insilio = dinsilio[/blockquote]
or
[blockquote]din (as "your" when en-related substantive) + insilio = dinsilio[/blockquote]
Which one or neither?
EDIT. OK that was nothing releated to mathematics.

opa01/12/2009 05:13(edited 01/12/2009 05:15)

actually there are three answers, and two of them are equal. x(-2;-2;0)
good job anyway, you wrote almost the same :D

P.S. if any1 got bored,
Solve the system of equations algebraically:
y=x^2-x-20
y=3x-15

hf

oh and ofc nice jumps kafds, i suck atm
