Problem with 100 fps

Hey guys ..
Today i am on 100 fps and i have something like lag .. but it's not lag it is very very often .. many times in one jump :( it isn't from my video card .. pls help me what causes this problem .. ? antivirus program , nvidia drivers ?? what ?

does it lag like that on lan? if it does, its hardware or virus, if not, its probably internet.

do ctrl - alt - delete and see if anything is using a lot of resources

i have the same problem, and it appears when I got many process, especially when I got windows media player opened and playing.

use resoultion 640x480 and lowest video settings!
