So, is 12.00 PM a midnight or is it a noon? I've always though it's midnight but now I heard that it also can be a noon.. which one is more commonly in use?

i already know that am = before the noon and pm = after the noon, but was just confused about 12PM and 12AM, thanks Trolis.

12:00 PM = midnight
only if it was 0:00 AM, time would be midnight instead of midday...

what a dumb rule :\ well i have to agree with it, but it just doesn't make sense... cause:
12PM = twelve hours past meridian*, means you add 12 hours to noon...

It is either 12 noon or 12 midnight. Everything else is incorrect.
