As far as I know LJ records sw bw and upside down have always been allowed. As long as it actually is a lj, cj, bhop etc. I'm pretty sure we even had a record on the list that was made backwards (253 I think).

It should be allowed anyway. But making own categories for the different ways of doing it is useless imo.

Or did you see someone making a WR with backwards or sidewards ljs?
Or did you see someone is running a 100m run backwards or sidewards?

little different because a human isn't made to run backwards because of their joints, but in cs, speed is the same in any direction..

i agree with omilo. if you wanna 256 sw why not

there were Bibo's 253 and 252 bw listed in the lj section a while ago.

even if someone could do 100m sideways under wr time it will be counted. its still running

bibo did 240 hj bw if i remember well

lol imagine athletes irl doing longjump backwards or sideways in Olympics - it would be epic xD

another stupid question:

if i jump 260 block (again imp, fosho xD) with p90. i am in wr list?

and if i do it with duals? xD

You aren't in the lists if you jump with a weapon that has a different speed than 250 u/s "default" speed. I'm sure that bw/sw/bwsw jumps will get accepted to XJ even though dEMolite said otherwise - he is wrong fo sho!

there is no such rule which is preventing it but in general it shouldn't be, i will throw it into the admin forum later so we can see what the rest is thinking and maybe we can see lately another poll for it ^^

i dont see the harm in allowing them (not their own section ofc - RIDICULOUS)

but some people jump better sideways, or backwards, and some forwards. its the exact same technique so it should be allowed for them to do it in a way that is preferable for them.

lj categories stand for existing techniques, and those you have mentioned are not actual "categories", more like the diferent ways of doing same known techniques.

Exactly. Not going to happen.

(was dicussed before, too).
