how are we supposed to show a pic of dpi? no reason to install setpoint and thats the only way to see it.

yes there is a point , g5 default report rate is 500 but its increasable to 1k wich is way better. Only for the blue version.

518 is 1600 (on the old one) then with no drivers can be set to 800 or 400

i used 400 dpi on my mx518 before it broke. now on my g5 im using 1k rps and 450 dpi

G5 with: 2000 dpi
windows sens: IIII
sensitivity: 1.7
+noforce commands

i really dislike setpoint so i never install it. it doesn't change anything if you don't use accel, or random dpi numbers. the app changer is useless

for 4ish years i used 518
800dpi
5/11 windows
2.1 ingame
cpl mousefix + noforce + 500hz

open steam -> games -> cs -> properties -> set launch options and paste

-noforcemaccel -noforcemspd -noforcemparms


this forces CS to use your desktop pointer settings (CS uses really fucked up acceleration by default), so if e.g you have mousefix installed this will eliminate pointer acceleration.

on my deathadder i use the same except for 1000hz and like 6/10 razer sens (not the windows and not ingame).

i also toyed around with 3500dpi (the 3.5g version) and used 3/10 windows and like .9 ingame.

you can't go lower than 1 ingame.

i just never felt it added enough to be worth it always running, although it hardly uses any resources, i just never felt the need for it. to each, his own
