So I was talking with my bitch (brendo333 for who don't know he actually IS my bitch) and I was thinking: "what did KZ give me?". It's obvious we all wasted like years of playing this 10 year old game which is still fun in someway, but still, do you think you actually got better at something?

I'd start with myself. First of all, I had no idea what web coding is and due to the websites I always opened and closed (PK-Jumping, KZ-Friends and Cosy-Climbing now, which is still UP!) I actually had to learn it to do fancy stuff - my custom pages, scripts etc so due to KZ so I did. Other than that, I met (uhm?) with some guys I'd like to meet IRL too - hrischo, balky, brendo, omilo (and the rest I forgot about) to whom I can talk random shit 24/7 and they wont block me.

That's 'bout me. You?

PS & edit: it's friday, almost 1am, don't wonder what's up with this stupid thread, please.

KZ didn't give me nuthin'
I gave KZ something! I am a gift to KZ, I'm the best thing that ever happened to KZ! I was sent from the gods!

..

KZ "gave" me online people from different countries. Quite useful to have a Spanish dude or maybe even Finnish one on my steam friends. (ty Flibo for deciphering my RL friend's voice messages)

besides taking up a fair bit of time trying to get better, it allowed me to meet a lot of different kinds of people, from globetrotters like omilo, people angry at their names (dimitru), big recorders like koukouz, all sorts.

and its kept me interested in cs, which i've been playing since like 1.5 off and on.

better english skills. without communities like xj and kz.ee my english wouldn't be as good as it is now.
and ofc i've met different people around the world, and even met 1 in real life.

I learned that I could be good at something... thanks KZ, you made my life better

I've met a lot of people from different countries, had great time communicating with them, learned something about their country and similar.

Well of course i lost LOADS of time playing, but i "met" lots of friendly and supportive people :) KZ gave me some imagination and (strange but true) mapping skills. And i met one steamfriend in reallife (gnomas)

i think that it gives the oportunity to meet interesting people from other countries.. apart from that, it shows that cs isn't only a game in which you kill people (except the kill command at the end of the demos, lol).

PD. it gave me a broken mouse.

Just fun times with a lot of people all around the world. Best part has been the fun chats on steam and on vent. To many to even start mentioning :).
The KZ part itselfe has been more like a relax after school/work.

And some minor knowledge about php I guess. But Nikola would probably say that i'm still a retard when it comes to that :P.

wasted life and shoulder pains (due to ergonomic disasters :D).

on a brighter side, it kind of was a really fun game, and it's fun to interact with great people like omilol, tarGet, souldftw and I don't want to write any more nicknames cuz I'm lazy. kk:D

edit: haha omilol u fgt:D "to many to even start mentioning", man u could've at least mentioned the funniest dude of em all! I mean the guy who says sp00d beast instead of speed boost... c'mon, it's hilarious! haha and elite's grandmas kebab sauce:D

omilo12/12/2009 12:56

Haha, ye i remembered that before i saw your edit and edited my own post :D
