wrong forum! moved
you can use:
- sony vegas 5.0, or 6.0d (no difference)
- photoshop (to make borders, and some tips, that make more awesome to a movie)
- adobe premiere pro (to give it some effects)
- adobe after effects (to give it some effects too)
- particle ilucion (to give some awesome effects)
- 3d blabla (dont remember the complete name, its to make some words in 3 dimentions, and its so easy to use)
- 3d studios (apart from make some words, whit this program you can recreate a map, or a model, o whatever you want, and make an animation, or what ever you want)
- fraps (to make an "avi's" file very quickly but the quality is the worst =D, and you can record whit sound)
(ill edit later and ill put some other programs)
- Counter Strike 1.6 to create pictures out of a demo
- Virtual Dub to create an avi file with the bitmaps
- Sony Vegas 6c: This is my main program which I use to edit the whole movie. (Some simple effects, transitions, 2D text, Animations,borders...)
- Adobe Photoshop 8: I only use this for some cool 2D and sometimes maybe 3D Text
- Adobe After Effects: This is a very nice program that allows you to create very, very much and ubernice effects. It is very complicated but some plugins are not as complicated as the most of them. You have to understand how to get along with the layers and detailed functions.
- Particle Illsusion 3: This is one of my favorite programs because there are some really cool and nice-looking 3D effects preinstalled (for instance explosions, the matrix text effect, trees, water...) which you can simply render as a movie and import to vegas video.
- Discreet 3Ds Max 7: This one is my favorite 3D program for creating nice animated 3D text. It is the most difficult program I know because you can create and animate nearly everyting. It is amazing to see the examples. But as ive said, I only use it for 3D Text because you have a big selection of textures, backgrounds and of course effects.
- Sony Sound forge 7: With that program you can record the ingame sound of your Counter Strike Clips and add a few effects to your sound files
If you are new to the moviemaker scene I can only recommand you to read some tutorials. They are very helpful and you will learn from time to time. Do not be angry if there are some errors or the quality is much worse than you might thought. Nowadays, everything is connected with hard work. Keep it doing... www.moviemakers.nu

I have a big problem!!!I have a Movie Maker but it can't open .dem files:(pls help me
u must turn the .demo to bmp files.
This is a tutorial I found @ another Forum:
Converting a Demo
There is no simple way to convert a .dem file into a .mpeg or .avi file as it is not a true video file and cannot just be "converted".
The only way it can really be done is to rapidly store the demo as a series of bitmaps:
First start viewing your demo using "play" or "view" then in console type:
startmovie NAME 30
This takes a screenshot at the rate you specify (in my example 30fps) and saves the bitmap in your "cstrike" folder. Bitmaps are then created at a rate of 30 per second (or whatever you chose) and are named as NAME000.bmp, NAME001.bmp etc.
Use endmovie to stop recording.
You can then use something like Videomach to convert all those bitmap into a movie.
NOTE: you will get a LOT of bitmaps saved which will take up a lot of space!
The other option is to start viewing the demo and using something like FRAPS to record the demo as it is being played.
Hope it helps u
now i have a movie but the bsplayer can't read it
wow, thx raYLa!
i think raYLa is the best movie maker ... allways, perfect music selection, awesome efects, is just... the best
zatura
start cs
then viewdemo n stuff and startmovie blabla 25(or another framevalue)
then it creates bmps of the scene to stop it type endmovie in the console
then open bmp2avi and choose the folder with the bmps n stuff and use uncompressed or a loseless codec like huffyuv as codec then u have a big avi and that u can use for your vegas or premiere
