random sensitivity
hey kreedzers,
I've started to having strange mouse bug yesterday. For example my sensitivity is 3.5 and while I'm playing it changes to like 10 for a really short period of time (~1-2 secs) and then back to normal. Well actually it's not changing itself, but it feels like that. It happens randomly and very annoying. If anyone of you had such problems, please tell how did you fix it. Or atleast if you have a clue why it's happening.
best way to fix it - reinstall windows. :)
omg!! finally i find someone with my problem....don't know why im not having that bug now...but sometimes it happens again for 1 day or 2 o.O
btw, if you solve the problem tell me the solution in the case it happens again to me please.
ps: sry for bad english
1.make sure you have sth under your mouse
2.make sure your mouse is good and makes no noise when moving or turning
maybe these will do
ps:sry for bad english 2
actually it happens sometimes to my brother. He has Logitech G5. it automatically changes from 400dpi to 2000. Don't know how to fix that, he got used to; it happens once a day or so.
uninstall setpoint

i dont even installed it since there are no set points available for windows 7 atm. however I never had this issue with setpoint when I was using XP.
do you have another mouse you can try for a little while to see if the problem continues?
since you mentioned set point i'm guessing you're using a logitech? a lot of people complain about the cord connection faltering at the top of the mouse, but usually it cuts out instead of going crazy.
so i'd try another mouse to see if its your current mouse or your computer acting up
reinstall cs

I do have SetPoint and I use a 64-bit Windows 7 :| Although I have no damn idea which version it is... But it seems to do the job.

Where did you get it? The one I installed from cd was complaining about compatibility and refusing updating to latest version. After that, I had quite sketchy mouse movements and was unable to turn off acceleration.
