Such a shame you dissected it with your taste. The whole compilation stands for the mighty lo-fi culture and DIY spirit.
It is truly a unique compilation, since it has synth-pop and raw black metal at the same time, and I don't feel like it is inappropriate. There is something much bigger that contains all this directions in itself. It's all about that slight feeling of wholeness throughout the record, despite the genre/approach differences. Thats why it's an absolute treasure.

I've shared my take on that compilation. I wasn't judging you when I said about dissecting. Hell, the fact that you enjoyed some of it was already a pleasure. I was surely not expecting any kind of a response.

Didn't quite get you on that "fusion" part. I was thinking "post-factum" there anyways: even if it's just a "compilation", this fact should not limit the analysis of how it could've been perceived. And thus, I've pointed out how this compilation stands as a whole and feels as a whole, being put together strongly by the cultures I mentioned. That's why it's an absolute treasure, to me.

I love how you pointed out the fact that I'm the part of the DIY scene, stating it as something obvious to the point that I'm, like, showing off. I wasn't shouting "I'm vegan" anywhere. DIY-culture was an example to what culture can contain all this forms of music and can create that mysterious "common" between them.

You are misreading me badly fykseN, I'm not holding any grudges against you, not to mention any stronger feelings like hatred or disdain. Now when we clearified that, I guess the "answers being defensive" part can be wiped out.

I like your answer, there is no bad blood between us as far as I know (maybe just some poking). It felt like you're really defending the compilation, that's what I meant.

Yeah the part with "fusion" was the first thing that came to my mind, I prefer fusions for these (or other) genres rather than just placing them next to each other. You were talking about invoked feelings and I went kinda off-topic.

I chuckled on the "I'm vegan" part because that was exactly what I was talking about, thanks for the clarification.
