I really hope what I am about to say is read by every member on this site because this has gone far beyond ridiculous. heiss, you, like every other member here (at least 90%) are completely misguided and overall ignorant to any of what I or hazard ever post.

I started this thread for demos, and upon receiving one, I got an opinion that I felt was incorrect so I proceeded to post what I personally thought was right (did you even fucking read it?) and you think what I'm saying is immature? Lets move aside from how utterly incorrect your overall perception of immaturity is and lets look at it front on.

kzmod, a mod developed around the idea of kz/climbing/jumping whatever you want to call it. Recently debates have sparked over longjumping and its worth within the 1.6 version of the game, the conclusion was that it IS kz and it IS here to stay, so in a mod that is DEVELOPED for kz why would you not want to see ljing? and remake, you don't like the pushing it to the limit style of gameplay? stop watching wr's then, stop watching trickjumps, stop watching longjumps, stop playing kz, are you a fucking idiot? what do you think the games based on. How many more lame kz movies do I need to watch with the text "breaking boundaries" and other dumb shit about pushing the limits of the hl1 engine, fucking think before you say things and try and realise what the fuck kz is because is throwing your motivation to play the game away really worth the brownie points FoF may or may not give you for standing up for him? Well done though, you seem like a real over-achiever.

Lets go back to my initial issue with you heiss, you are quick to put hazard and myself down but for what reason? why are you using immaturity as an excuse, because if you really believe this is immaturity then maybe you should have a real good look at yourself.

Games are based on pushing the limits of the engine? Good to know, I've always heard games are made for having fun playing them, I guess whole the word has lied to me all this time.. I have to admit, I haven't read this whole thread, it seems like there's too much flaming in it...
Hazard and lagster, have you tried playing KZMod? The bhops works almost like AXN for CS 1.6, and you can also bhop pretty high. That means that pushing longjumps to the limits is quite useless, since the biggest distance you could get with a lj could be made with just a few bhops and some "not-so-perfect" strafes.

@puppetz yes ofc ive played it, and yeah i understand that the physics of the game lead it in a more bhop oriented direction.

but its the same in kz, nobody NEEDS to be able to do 256 ljs, you mostly never see more than a 240 gap, but people geek it, people enjoy it, and its also enjoying to watch it evolve.

THATS what annoyed me about people saying they hope it doesnt get developed - especially when one of those people was one of the lj geeks that basically pioneered 1.6 ljing.

just like in kz, ljing is a part of kzmod, whether its axn or not - strafing and prestrafe still makes you jump further on blocks (i even managed some 254-257 lj stats last night)

it may not be useful to complete maps, but thats the same for 1.6 kz.

i understand that i can be explosive, and that i seem like im flaming for no reason, but i explained in the newspost about the tutorial - thats just how i operate. Sure its probably not the best way to go about it, but its the way i choose to go.

and even though alot of miscs on the site just seem to think im an immature flamer, i like to think that some of the more intelligent people, and admins understand where i am coming from.
