Just a website question...

Hi there, I'd like to create a website and I'm looking for a good web hoster, preferably free btw...

Anyone of you would have an idea? :D

Otherwise, I got my full template, what's the best to edit it?
Isn't Dreamwaver too hard for noobs?

Dreamwaver is one of the worst programs for website creation. I use notepad++ :-)

I could host one for u at my server if you are interested ;)

Also, dreamwaver is pretty good for beginners, but for more experienced people i would recommend notepad++ as FoF :)

I use phpDesigner2008 as my IDE. I used to use notepad++, but phpDesigner2008 is better.

As for web host, I use Imhosted. There's a setup fee but you pretty much get unlimited everything (bandwidth, data space, etc..)

Then u need for sure something like dreamweaver than on notepad++ u need to code yourself, and on dreamweaver u can code and drag&drop your things.

wordpress, like freez wrote, could also be an alternative because u don't have to code any single single line, it's a complete cms you just have to configure it due a admin-panel.

or for just "gallerys" there are also many free php scripts out there, you would not need a complete wordpress for that :)

on webhosters i don't know much, the one i use i would not recommend and its not even international.

i looked one on whois for tintin's page because i think it has good speed, and on whois it u will get that he uses one.com as hoster.
prices there looks really fair, but i havent made experience for myself with this hoster so i can't say that much to it :D

If you are totally new @ coding, i would also recommend dreamweaver. If you are just going to set up a simple website witch you can edit etc. it would also be a good idea to set up a cms system like wordpress or e107. For webhosts, read ma first post :D
