Snow: Your school closed?
cuz killadelphia is :S never heard of it, ofc it means pilladelphia, but i was making sure :D
Usually if we get more than say 3 inches of snow they close our schools down. A lot of kids drive to school as well, so I guess they factor that in.
I remember one day our superintendent pulled some physic move and canceled schools before the snow even came down. The funny part was that the snow didn't start until the school day would have actually ended.

14/01/2010 13:56Never seen a school get closed here. It was -20 a few days ago and there's A LOT of snow now. Can't see why that could prevent you from going to school though. Just a lame excuse.
In Copenhagen, everything is open, even with tons of snow and -20, if it hits it.. In other places outside of Copenhagen, things close just by the little taste of snow landing..
yeah vonch, philadelphia suburbs. like owned said, thats happened a few times. they think its gonna be a bad storm so they send out salt trucks and cancel school and nothing comes til late in the day.
but then the other side is it starts snowing during school and they dont let us leave until late in the day. last time that happened one of my friends gave me a ride home, slid on the road, drove like 10 feet up the side of a mountain and rolled onto the roof.. that was interesting.
If it starts snowing heavily during school they call an emergency dismissal. But since my town is a small town, but most every senior and junior have a car, and it's too dangerous for that many cars to be on the road at once, especially in wintery conditions.
its cold as fuck in europe lol in georgia its only like 20-45 degrees which is cold for georgia, we had some fucking ice and a little snow but thats usually it
damn, -20 i see ^ etc. with plenty of snow and skl not closed, maybe cuz you're all used to it and they don't close skls; u have the correct equipment to deal with these things.
England closes when its like 3inches snow :S
schools dont close for snow / ice here.
