g500 mouse problems

Hey everyone,

Is there anyone else out there who bought the g500? For the most part, it has improved my KZ so dramatically that it makes me think: "Wow, so THAT's how they do it!" however there is one issue that drags the whole product down: the over-sensitive mouse wheel.

The continuous scroll wheel makes bunny hopping absolutely effortless, it might as well be some kind of auto-bhop script. However the mouse wheel is so sensitive that just picking up the mouse or swiping it around (as part of normal mouse movement) sets it off, spamming jump/duck a million times. Also just rolling the mouse wheel down registers as both upwards and downwards scroll for some reason, again spamming jump/duck a million times.

So even after realizing how much this mouse could improve my KZ, this issue is making me think I'm going to return it or throw it in the trash. Anyone know how I might fix this problem?

Btw, my vertical scrolling speed in options is set at its lowest: 1/10.

turn off hyperscroll, hit the button right under the wheel. its so hard to play with it on, and if you spam it when you bhop, your timing would be horrid. also the ducks... i do it in scrims when im last one left, just to bug out all the specs, its insane.

i only use hyperscroll on desktop things (browsing, music, etc)

i use g500 too
powerfull bhop
but sometimes jump auto when climbing....so sad :(

Did you seriously do not know how to turn of the hyperscroll?

I am using the g500 as well and it is just fine, without the hyperscroll.

hyperscrolling is not going to make you good. so feel free to try it.
