New keyboard = broken lj's for me, advic

Greetings xj, been here for about a year, but finally made an account about a month ago. Anywho, I used to play with a really crappy e-machine ps/2 keyboard that is about 8 years old. I kept playing with it, until I got decent with lj's. I finally upgraded to a USB keyboard about a week ago, and now my lj's have gone to crap. I've gone from averaging 80% sync, down to 20% sync, unless I do a backwards lj, which somehow, I get mid 50's.

Any advice on how I, myself, can analyze what I am doing wrong, and how to get better syncs? I do the same style lj's as I did with my old keyboard, it's just that I can't do as good.

Also, what's the delay in ms of a ps/2 port [that may be my issue too]? Thanks.

By the way, my prestrafe is 273-276, so I'm ok on the prestrafe.

bought new mouse/keyboard about an year ago. with my previous ones i had no prob doing 254/255 and 266-269 cj's. Bought the new one and i couldnt do 230 stats, my lj / cj sync was around 30. but in time .. like 2-3 weeks? i got used with the new stuff and everything came back to normal.. so just play till you get used with it, thats the key, theres nothing wrong with your strafes, just needs some practise with the new stuff. hf
