hey all, was just playing cs when all of a sudden my friendslist signed out and I thought it was my internet but then all my friendlist was gone?
signed into some server and every player's friends was gone, this happened to u? maybe steam failz0r,

well...maybe it's just because of the new update...perhaps they (steam) will fix it back

my friends list is intact, before and after the latest update. anyhow, if steam have technical problems they surely must have backup on the data.

It's temporary. I just played with my RL friend who told me he doesn't see any friends online, in fact, when he opens friends list it says that he hasn't added any friends yet. But I can see him in my friends list. So..

so i shouldn't have sold my stocks, emptied my bank account, and stocked up with water and bread?

mine is that way too, some of my friends still have theirs working. when i tried adding someone, it said it was unable to do so, so i think its a temporary error.

i really wouldn't be surprised if steam doesn't back up everyones friends lists though.
