G5 or G500

What is the best mouse g5 or g500?
Give the views and opinions on the 2 mice.

Well what I heard is that G500 is an "updated" G5. I haven't had either one of these two and I can't say anything, except that if G500 is just a "better" G5 it can't be the worse option.

I've noticed that many top players (world record holders/longjumpers etc.) are actually using G5, and I'm planning to get one myself, then I heard that KeltA got himself a G500... then he quit playing kreedz. Then I lost all my interest. Now I don't care what mouse I have.

yep take a g5. I had a g5 and I changed to a g500.. It's not the same sensation :s.

i was looking at either one of the two as well, but at least in america, g5s are pretty hard to find still. i saw some for $100, g500 for $55... i have the g500, its nice, its easy to use.

G5, even though i sold it to my brother because i stuck the weights:D. Now i have DeathAdder, and when i play from my brother's PC , G5 is really strange to use. But i did a 264 cj from his PC, so G5 is good for strafes, but it can be a few harder to accommodate.

I havn't had any of those mouses, but I would propose G500 since it's a upgraded verision of G5. I have a friend that have G500 and he really likes it, and says it's really worth buying it.

I bought a g500 just recently, used to have a g5 refresh and I'm very pleased with the g500. With all the additional buttons and shit I'd say that the g500, in overall, is much better. In kreedz it's a matter of preference, at least for me.

i got the g500 some days ago and played with the g5 for about 7 months. the onlydifference is the scroll that is much lighter on the g500. it gives you crazy dd's but for the bhops if you are accustomed to the harder scrolls it requires some time to get used to it. I couldn't say what mouse is the best, it's only about the scroll preference

i highly doubt g500 is worse than g5. i bet most if not all of the people who are spamming "g5 ftw" here have never even owned g500 (i am also one of them, except the spamming part). So i would say definitely go for g500, its like 5 years younger...

Saying G5 is worse than G500 without even having owned a G500 isn't that much better than just spamming "g5 ftw" :|

He "concluded" that stuff with progression logic.
I however have no idea about specifications.
After all, not like people here care about specifications, they care about which mouse is the best for KZ (which is, of course, ridiculous).
