AAE problem

Ever since i re-installed my new windows(XP) on every version that i install i get the same problem : Unable to create font... And then when i re-open the program it's a grey screen and i can't do anything :S if anyone has encountered this problem and has a solution please post it here because i am very desperate atm ...
