you should always go for HD, 720p or 1080p, no? even tho it's a video projector...

vladnike, game movies are a total different world than real life videos especially if they were recorded with cell phones.

you cant adjust a lot in fps and render settings because your whole footage doesnt even have barely "lossless" quality.

just use 25-30 fps, that doesnt really matter. And I would NOT recommend you to use avi.

Your video should be able to watch on computers without any codec packs that support ffdshow or H264. Render it as .wmv to make sure that you wont get any problems with compatibility.

dont take vilaca advices, I think he only heard some pro comments like "1080p is best evaa" and thinks the higher the resolution the better the movie which is total crap.

I highly doubt that your video projectors support resolutions of 1920x1080 or 1280x720 (I think that could even vilaca have thought about). But even if they do, not all pc's (e.g. mine) are able to play hd videos properly (due to the high bitrate of those videos).

And in contrast to game videos which were made for people with dual core prozessors and 4 gb ram the computers in your class (or wherever you will replay your movie) are not that good.

If you render it with .avi, 1080p and H.264 you will get the very best quality and by way of comparision small file size (and this would 90% of the people here advice you to do) BUT I bet that you will get problems.

File size is in your case not as important as in game videos.

reliability is important. not ultimate perfection.

concluding: 29.970 fps, .wmv, 4M bitrate, 960x540 (960x720?)

.wmv should work fine with such a project and it's easy to use. Also 29,970 fps will do the work.

edit: oops rK was first.

thx rK..and another question..can i use different colors Magic Bullet or others on a cellphone video? i haven't try it before, i'll try, but i want to see your post:D

btw. i have a quad-core 2,5 RAM ddr3

well your computer properties are not relevant for editing.

of course you can use magic bullet and fx's on your cellphone videos in vegas. it doesnt matter which footage you use, the fx's always work on them. you just should watch out that the contrast doesnt get too high because it will look worse on a video projector if you have used high contrasts.

Never do the same colors for rL videos as for game videos. RL video are very different, don't overcontrast them

vilaca-25/04/2010 13:30

yeah i'm an idiot don't listen to me.
