i like the idea of every country got your own kz community , the players got more together and this stuff, i dnt like the southamerica kz cmm idea. i think a country kz website and XJ it is good enought =) gamster i would say the same thing about speak english on a lot of countries =O
for sure you ll work a lot on this cuz isnt easy to keep a kzwebsite for weeks/months/years...

guys just tell him where to get free webspace, because I don't know any free hosters in south america...
If you want to start small, it could be free host. (Chrizzo I don't think there's any free web hosts in south america either, but as you know anywhere in the world is fine ^^)
If you see that it starts growing up nicely you can buy domain and paid hosting later.
Setting up e107 is pretty easy, as with any portal, you can even use another one if you like.
I think it should be any name but kz-south america because that would need to include kz-arg and br and they already have great communities going there.

im stuck though, i dont know how to insert tables, so the record demos section is fucked up. I dont know how to insert a section where the member can submit their demos, all i know is external links like rapidshare or megaupload :S

You should learn some html and php to understand the basics of coding. Then search for some scripts from google (http://php.about.com/od/advancedphp/ss/php_file_upload.htm - upload script).
11/05/2010 21:25XJ would have done some php start-package for new countries wich they can get with talking to an admin, that would help a lot new communities to grow up

Well I don't know that but all country communitys speaks there official language (exept kz-sca, 'cause we are 3 different countrys with three different language) So I think it's like 3-4 communitys that has english as the official language ? And now clan-sites are not included.. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't see the point of making an exakt same community with same language when is already exist 2-3 of them.
My guess is that he just wants to be admin fosho!

I'm not much of a flamer, but maybe you didn't read correctly all the reasons he is saying for it, and the rest of the reasons people are saying too (like it could help to promote the game).
Kz in argentina is something else, this is kinda the same reason why there was xj and the other community (cosy? I'm not sure) for demos that fell short on world records.
Another big reason is that in south america the ping difference between countries can be huge sometimes. I live closer to Argentina than USA, but I get 200+ ping in argentina and 100 in USA, maybe its the same in Peru.
And most of all, even if there was another site in the country and this could make more people play kz is not stupid at all.
@ poshito, I think you're not doing the links correctly, you're just typing the names without the existing page.
For the record demos tables for example you have to create mysql tables.
I have a few files that were once posted in cosy that can help you, but I don't know if you will know what to do with them :s

I hope you can help me, maybe you can pm me your email so we can talk more fluent and in spanish of course .
site looks better than kzna, what more do you need? i'd work on those times though =D

thanks a lot for the support kunqui, ive always being in contact with kzarg, i pm juanch0x (because everybody told me that he is the one who builded the web) but he has been inactive the last few weeks. So all i can do is wait for his response.
On the other hand, some others are offering me their help :)
Poshito the difference between kzmod and 1.6kz is that kzmod is for counter strike source. Didn't you think it was a pretty good looking picture for a 1.6 map :)
