How come WR holders don't just bhop the longjump at the end?
It's not hard, as even I, a random, can do it. - So that's out.

Is it slower then if you stopped and jumped it normally? :S

its risky to try it when you are making a perfect run

Dilap15/05/2010 09:04

Ye, it's big risk, it will be insulting if you done in improbable time, and done fail in the end...

craigM15/05/2010 18:30

Well somebody should go for it. Afterall, we do have jumpbug and edgebug wr's. ^_^

perd0 mapper15/05/2010 19:28

well but these records couldnt be made without using jumpbug, so if you want to beat it, u have to risk it.
when youre jumping goldbhop and u feel youre in the perfect run, you simply dont want to fall on the last stage and you better jump it normal way.

craigM15/05/2010 23:48

Before somebody beat them with jumpbug, there must of been a record the normal way. Therefore, somebody risked it in the first place. The thing just is, nobody did that with goldbhop.
I don't wanna start a discussion, but fact just is, if you could bhop the longjump, you'd get like 1-2 seconds.

Well , I guess if some jumper wants to beat goldbhop without stoping on the little hj.. He'll probably do it :)

nucLeaR30/08/2010 13:04

Yes... and everybody skips a skip from beginning, too, why's that? :D

Keo mapper12/09/2010 02:32

the hj will be bhopped in the future, i'm sure.

st@mbeto. mapper12/09/2010 17:54

yep and shnz did it ...

maxiqueen12/09/2010 19:41

everyone can do it in random run, we are talking there about wr...

Punk^12/09/2010 22:31

It's possible maxiqueen :-) It's all about taking the risk, and sometime - someone will succeed :-)

Agree. To bhop over you need at least one "extra" bounce before BJ. In that time the stopping is finished.

If you really think this WR is all about BJ once more time, you can stick on trifles like(we speak about millisecond now):

Airtimely and speedwise: Bj might have less airtime, but maxspeed and distance make LJing more recommendable.

+ The fact that you will miss it at least 4/10.

This has been discussed before. Use search function.

A very nice longjump

A3TIUS23/09/2010 21:05

@ NAPZ

Could you plz give it a shot with a gs b4 the bj (somewhat like a mcj). I dont have enough skills to try it out myself and so I am asking you to try it out.Plz lemme know whether its a timesaver or not worth it.

kunqui24/09/2010 00:49

It's not fasta..

aftermatch-_-24/09/2010 02:23

its not really hard, but the chance of getting slowdown afterwards is increased, when you stop and lj it i think u got more speed from the upcoming blocks. hope u got the idea

nobody^24/09/2010 10:55

Its risky if you do it in run to lose your speed after you land it, but if you go ahead with duck bhop it will probably be atleast 0.5 secs faster. go napz go! :D

If I understood correctly this ain't working. With duckbhop the height gets too low. Learn some physics please.
