+1.
There's no mouse which could automatically make you good at something. Just get a mouse that has fine dpi and is comfort for you.

i had a 518 for 3 years, it was fine for kz'ing. got a deathadder after, strafes might have been a bit better, and g500 now. cant say which is best, although g500 has the best wheel and g500 = mx518 on feel.
just pick one
Lol strafes is better cuz you are playing more time.
You can play well with fucking wooden-shitpie mouse.
no it wasnt that. first day i got it i did like 5 246 bhops. only had done 1 before that.
getting a new mousepad helped a lot too.
TlofT I can name quite a few well known kz players with crappy ass mouses.
Seriously what mouse you have is only a question about comfort. You really think you can spot the difference with 5k dpi and 3k dpi. And if you say yes, I'll say grats to the marketing.
Kinda hasty deduction there Kunqui, but okay fair enough
You should buy mouse according to your own comfort. You needn't be told by someone else. And also getting a good mouse won't get you magically turn you into a good player. However b4 you buy a mouse try to consider the following :
1. How you grip the mouse...Claw or Palm Gripper...
2. Size of your hands...Small or Big Mouse needed...
3. Prefer a higher dpi with on-the-fly sensitivity....
Refer to the mouse selection guide in www.razerzone.com to find out more in details. Good luck with your mouse hunt...

go for it.
i dont use 5000 dpi, i use 800 on all of them. between the feet, the shape, and the wheel, why would i buy some shitty mouse? if you think none of them make a difference then grats to being close minded.

What? Did you read what I said? I said it's only about comfort, you said pretty much the same thing and suddenly I'm close minded? Yey!
Rather combine average mouse with internet gloves instead of buying an expensive mouse.
Hello. Guy's question was what are the most common used mouses by kz players.

Logitech G5. A very expensive mouse, atleast here in Denmark. G500 is way cheaper, but probably way worse too.

It's because of the G5 (v1, gold/black) is the old model, it was followed by G5 (v2 aka black/blue) and then later on the G500 (kinda strange mousewheel if you ask me). However, quite a few people still want to buy it but only a few shops sell it anymore = higher price.

To the guy who asked for help: Basically you can be good with any mouse, that's right, but if you want to squeeze out the last 20% of your possible skill/talent you need the right tool. I can confirm that G5 (v1) or (v2) [only difference is that v2 feels a bit faster (with the same settings) imo] have an extraordinary mousehweel that helps to make bhops a lot more easier. You should have bigger hands though, nothing for small hands. In this case I'd suggest a G3.
45/50e where is from. it's not that expensive, the best for sure
