How to insert A model in your map

Hi!
I`m new here. I`ve made a few maps but they are so empty . So i wanna add a model and i dont know how to do it.Can you tell me pls

cycle_sprite, if you don't have it find a .fgd that has it... Also you should use vhe 3.5 (if you don't have it already)
