Not more than 6 strafes :/
Hi,
my LJ rec is 252. I do 245-250 pretty often.
Now I want to make 254-255 etc but I got 1 problem: I can only make 6 strafes. I dont know how but I simply cant do more.
So im wondering, is there any tips and tricks to make it easier to strafe more than 6 ?

Just practise. First try to do 7 strafes and then 8 .

You can make 254 with 6 strafes Easy and 255 with 6 strafes......
grandiiiiosa there is a trick :) just follow these steps :
1.Eat some peanut butter
2.Go Get a gum
3.Chew it and then put it in your hair
4.GEEK UNTIL YOU EYES BLEED :)
only the 4th one is important but the other 3 can give you more self-convidence

just geek lj all day long, get no friends just geek lj and u will get 253 block soon
aftermatch still alive, nice! The only key is "geeking" as everyone replied. You just got to keep with an amount of strafes you can control and then develop from that on. Doing 250+ isn't hard, but its still quite a long way from 254 - just keep playing like the biggest nerd out there and you'll start seeing results.
Ok thx, but I have allready been g33k1nG :p Im thinking more of; Sensetivity, mouse acceleration(on or off?) or any other commands u can run from cs.
Mouse acceleration off for sure, don't change your sensitivity.
m_filter 1 might affect in some way, personally I have 1 but the difference is minor. You can also change your mouse Hz which is a major boost. For example the default Hz of my mouse was 125 I put it up to 500 and improved all my records within that day. Perhaps it was just a placebo-effect, but likely not.

How do I change my hz on the mouse ? I tried to google some, but I the only program I found didnt work because I got windows 7.

oh i was drunk as fuck the other night when we spoke but if i had a gun or smth i wouldnt think about it, i even thought of jumping from the window ...
I tried one program but when i tried to use 250/500 hz instead of 125hz, my mouse didnt work.
I got Logitech mx518. Is the mouse too bad ?

U dont need more strafes , with 6 strafes u can jump 254/255 lj .

it doesnt necessarily have anything to do with the mouse, show us a demo of you doing and lj and show some stats.
can you do 254 units with 5 strafes? or would it be easier with 6+ strafes?

Some people have actually done 254 block with 5 strafes, but its easier with 6 (unless you are completely unable to control that amount). I remember I had BupTuk's and awaY's 254 block(s) with 5 strafes. There was a thread, "your ljrec with 3 strafes", and some people posted demos of all amounts of strafes down there.
I managed to boost my mouse to 500hz now. But when I did lj its not the same. Now I have a hard time doing 250. But my bhop seems faster. I guess its because its new and I gotta learn the "new" function with 500hz instead of 125hz.

With the "Razer" mouse you have a driver for the mouse in which you can make all the adjustments needed don't know about the others ... and btw if you think that buying a "logitech g500" or "razer mamba" (just for example) will change your ljing skills a lot you're mistaking :) I haven't tried changing my hz and i don't think it can change your way of playing a lot . Personally, i think that you can't do 250 just because of your lack of persistence and/or motivation.
