Date of the Demo
Hi, I need to know if there's any way to find the day when the demo was recorded... I'm pretty sure it can be done since you can find even the steam id of the one who did it...

Not mine demos. I've made a new KZ Community and It's main purpose is to have new demos. By New demos i mean any new demo recorded after 11-06-2010.
If you change the name of the demo, the date will automatically be changed.
demo recorders should add a special code in the end of the demo.. like "kz-romania" :D

Changing the name of the demo won't change the date of when the file was created...
It's like ndR said: Right click -> Properties -> General; There you can see the date the file was created, "changed", and last time used.
lol i did that just to test it, and one of my demos says:
created: 17march 2010
modified: 10fev 2010
accessed : 17march 2010

I believe you can modify the dates and therefore its not a reliable source for a date. If you really want to get your hands into the real date and time of creation you should learn how to hack the sh*t out of every file. Nah, I don't know... I've used the method ndR suggested, and it has mostly told the truth, but often there are some suspicious dates going on.
12/07/2010 13:41When opening a .rar archive with WinRar you can easily see the date. And as kafds said, the date can be manipulated.
