Compile problem!

Sry if im a bit nooby. I am trying to learn mapping. So i have made a little testmap, and i can compile it with no prob, but when i try -nowadtextures it just dont want to compile. So i would be really happy if someone could help me :D

The -nowadtextures should be at CSG option not at path.

You need a lot more lines besides the csg line... try reinstalling hammer and configure it correctly

Try with -wadinclude or If doesn't work then put both of them -nowadtextures -wadinclude and there's also another one -wadautodetect ( includes only used textures )

If still doesn't work just get Batch Compiler http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=2

Edit : LOL just saw, didn't even noticed that VIS, RAD and BSP are missing, re-configure VHE or use the Batch Compiler

Wtf. now it worket perfectly to compile but i cant run the map in cs :S

Because you compiled only the CSG ( This is used for solid geometry ) But still BSP/VIS/RAD are missing. Told ya get Nem's Batch Compiler and use that, and it's easy.

Just post if you have any other problems. Shouldn't be to hard to configure Batch :)

so i got the batch compiler and i configured it, but when i tried to compile i got an error saying ; error writing batch file. C:\program files\Batch compiler\compile.bat

hmm everything is right, but i think its because it cant save to there because you need to be admin on my computer. or something like that. EDIT: Worked when i ran the program as an administrator
