Hi kz jumpers i wanted to know what player do i use when i download a demo.I downloaded kz_ins_ancientgartens but i cant open it with gom player.
How do i open the video

you should open it ingame using playdemo "demoname"/viewdemo "demoname" in your console.

But where do i put the demo.I cant just put it on the Desktop and play it via Counter Strike

In C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\userid\counter-strike\cstrike\.

get the demo, place it in your cstrike folder, copy the name of it, start up cs. go on console. type "playdemo blablablabla.dem" and voila

EDIT: It doesent work i downloaded copied in the cstrike folder and when i tried to start it says ERROR: Coudnt open

EDIT2: Its ok i just had to put .dem in the text

First of download the demo. When you download the demo, it will be packed as a .rar file. To extract that you will need winRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm) Download it and install it. After you've installed winRAR, open the downloaded .rar file. Click on the demo which is located inside the archive, and press "Extract to" in the top left side. At the destination path, you choose C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\yourusername\counter-strike\cstrike\ and press "ok" (at yourusername it's the username of your steam account that has to be there).
After this, the demo is located in the right place. Then you open up counter-strike through steam or through your counter-strike shortcut. Then open up the console by pressing the tilde key (the key usually placed under F1) and write viewdemo "demoname".dem (at demoname you write the FULL name of the demo and do not use the " ". Also remember to put .dem in the end) You can also do the same with the command playdemo.

This should work, can't explain in any other ways.

I wasn't saying you are, I just wrote fully from scratch how to watch a demo..
