How to get 3ds max, the legal way - Students

So, you're a moviemaker? And you want to use 3ds max? Well, that's a pretty expensive program isn't it? What's that? You can't afford it? Well, there's always the other way.. the legal way.

First off, the most important thing is that you are a student (I'm a high school student myself and therefore have a student e-mail, which will be required later). Now that we've confirmed that you're a student with a student e-mail, here's what you do:

First off to go this website: http://students.autodesk.com/ Afterwards, you press this button.

Then you sign up just as you usually would, EXCEPT instead of the school's e-mail you enter your own student e-mail (-link-)

After this step, you log onto your student e-mail and wait for the until you get an activation key.
Activate your account and download 3ds max free of charge.

You can only keep the programming for the remaining time you are in school
You can download more programs than just 3ds max
